Annual and Bi-Annual Markets


Cross Hills Gardens Country Fair


Set in glorious garden settings, the Cross Hills Gardens Country Fair is an unmissable annual affair

Wander through the world-renowned Rhododendron gardens in Kimbolton and soak up the charming countryside vibes at Cross Hills Garden Country Fair. With over 180 fantastic stalls, live music and delicious food trucks, mark this one in the diary for a sunny Spring day out. 

Held annually on the third Saturday November – the next is on Saturday 19 November 2022, 9am – 4pm. 
Location: 339 Rangiwahia Road, Kimbolton 


Magic of Christmas Night Market and A Winters Day Out


Magic of Night Christmas Night Market is packed full of inspirational indoor stalls – pick up something for under the tree or to stuff the stockings  

Built on the love of the festive season, the gift of giving, and gathering with friends and family, the Magic of Christmas Night Market and A Winters Day Out both offer boutique shopping experiences, a festive feasting hall,  and live local music. Feel the warmth of the Christmas spirit with your family and friends as you shop, drink and be merry! 

A Winters Day Out will be held in July 2023, and The Magic of Christmas Night Market on 6 & 7 December 2022.

Feilding Craft Market


See the town’s creative talents under one roof at the Feilding Craft Market 

Feilding is home to New Zealand’s largest indoor craft and vintage market featuring over 200 stalls - offering a mix of craft, vintage, and retro finds. Get your crafty friends together, take your reusable bags and arrive ready to be inspired and delighted.  There’s no surprise the bi-annual Feilding Craft Market attracts crowds from near and far – finding something to spruce up the home or to give as a gift to that special someone.  

Held twice a year – the next is on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 October 2022, 9am – 4pm. 
Location: Manfeild Stadium, Feilding 





Monthly Markets


Hokowhitu Village Farmers’ Market


A destination in itself, this popular monthly market offers a range of artisan and local produce and treats to tempt your taste buds. Bring your family or your flatties and sit and stay for a while, with scrumptious street food and live music making it a complete experience Whether you’re a seasoned regular or it’s your first visit, you’ll be welcomed like a local; as you meet the community’s growers and makers, sample delicious artisan treats, and fill your bags with freshly-grown organic produce to take home with you. 

Held on the third Sunday of every month, 9am – 1pm 
Location: Hokowhitu Village, Albert Street, Palmerston North

Feilding Farmers’ Market
Feilding Farmers Market
Shop up a storm at Feilding Farmers’ Market 

Follow your nose to the town’s clock tower (chances are you’ll smell the waft of delicious food calling your name before you even see it). This award-winning market features stunning artisan products such as locally crafted wines, cheeses, meats and more. Your next charcuterie board will be the talk of the town!

Albert Street Farmers’ Market


The early bird gets the worm, or the freshest produce in this case. Fresh fish, baked bread and hot foods make this a popular Saturday destination, along with a wide array of fresh produce.

Location: Albert Sports Bar Car Park, Albert Street, Palmerston North  


Highbury Flea Market


Like bumping into your neighbour in the supermarket aisle, the Highbury market is the go-to place to catch up with fellow locals, and top up on produce, freshly baked Māori bread and tasty treats galore.

Palmy Sunday Market


Your one-stop-Sunday-shop, with plenty of fresh fruit and veges, eggs, clothing, food, plants and car-boot sale items on offer. 
Every Sunday, 7am – 2pm

Sanson Market


Get inspired and pick up a vintage gem with the array of antiques and collectables up for sale, and fill your pantry with fresh produce and condiments galore in this community market. 
Every Sunday, 7:30am – 1:30pm
Location: Corner of State Highway One and Three, Sanson
