 Memorial Park

Memorial Park

Memorial Park offers a wide range of activities for the whole whānau.

Cool off in the fenced-in paddling pool or the new splashpad on a hot summers day. Explore the poppy themed playgrounds, suitable for all ages, featuring slides, ramps, swings, balancing balls and ropes, climbing walls and fall nets. The toddler playground has a slide, bridge and tunnel. Kids can scooter or bike around the pond, and large grassy areas are perfect for picnicking and playing cricket.

Memorial Park also houses a Liberty Swing, which is a wheelchair-friendly swing available for use, all you need to do is pick the key up from the Palmerston North City i-SITE, in Te Marae o Hine - The Square.

Located on Main Street East (SH3), in Palmerston North, this is one of the city's major parks.

The paddling pool and splashpad are open 10am - 9pm daily in the summer months.
